Late in the third quarter on Saturday night in Death Valley, many LSU fans began exiting Tiger Stadium with their team trailing Arkansas by a couple touchdowns.

LSU tight end Dillon Gordon wasn’t happy.

Gordon published a series of tweets after the game bashing Tigers fans for bailing on their team. They were quickly deleted but the message was clear — we don’t need you.

“Worst fans ever,” Dillon tweeted.

“If (you’re) a real tiger fan thank you … If you not bye we don’t need no band wagoners as long as we win we y’all team,” another said.

“If that’s your team you stand by them win, lose, or draw its simple.”

The Advocate caught many of Dillon’s tweets before they were taken down. More than half of Tiger Stadium was empty midway through the second half, a rare occurrence considering LSU has the SEC’s best home record over the last decade.
