Add Charlie Strong to the mix of Florida coaches.

In a state that already has Mark Richt (Miami), Jimbo Fisher (Florida State) and Jim McElwain (Florida), the former Texas coach (and longtime Gator assistant) is reportedly joining the fray.

Strong has reportedly agreed to a deal with USF, according to ESPN:

Strong will replace Willie Taggart, who left the Bulls to take the Oregon coaching job.

Interestingly, if Strong stays at South Florida for a few years, he will get a chance to square off against his former team:

The Bulls won 10 games in 2016 and will square off against South Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl on Thursday, Dec. 29.
