Texas A&M WR Ricky Seals-Jones headed to the 2017 NFL Draft

Following an overall disappointing junior season, receiver Ricky Seals-Jones has announced that he will not be back for 2017. Seals-Jones registered only 26 catches for 333 yards and one touchdown this season.

Seals-Jones thanked the 12th Man in a note shared to Twitter announcing his intentions to enter the NFL Draft:

Coming out of Sealy (Texas) High School in 2013, Seals-Jones was one of the most sought-after recruits, a five-star prospect rated No. 25 overall, the No. 2 athlete and No. 2 Texas prospect by the 247Sports Composite. He redshirted in 2013, and contributed the past three seasons. In his Aggies career, Seals-Jones recorded 123 catches for 1,442 yards and 10 touchdowns.

He made six catches for 34 yards and a touchdown in Texas A&M’s Wednesday loss to Kansas State in the Texas Bowl.
