Things are not looking good for Butch Jones and Ed Orgeron.

It is no secret that LSU and Tennessee are struggling lately. LSU was outplayed at home in a 24-21 loss to Troy while Tennessee suffered a 41-0 blowout to Georgia at home. Both teams have looked lost at times, and both coaches are on the hot seat.

A recent study by Market Dynamic Research Group has even found that Jones and Orgeron have the lowest approval rating in all of college football. According to the study, 84% of LSU fans disapprove of coach O’s performance with just 1% of fans approving of his work this season. The silver lining, if there is one, is that just 42% of Tigers fans would fire Orgeron now or at the end of the season.

The coach with the lowest approval rating in the country is none other than Jones. A staggering 97% of Vols fans disapproves of the job Jones has done this season, and 81% of fans would fire Jones now or at the end of the season. It is beginning to look like this season will be the last chance for Jones to make something happen in Knoxville.
