Being a head coach in the SEC comes with a number of high expectations, and no one knows that better than Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin.

Sumlin has been on the hot seat on multiple occasions this season, and he continues to face criticism after a home loss to Mississippi State. The Aggies had reeled off five wins in six games since blowing a huge lead in the season opener to UCLA. The lone loss in that span was an eight-point defeat to No. 1 Alabama.

Unfortunately, the Aggies came out flat against Mississippi State and could never recover. The Bulldogs rolled to a 35-14 victory that brought the hot seat talk back to Sumlin.

Sumlin addressed the expectations associated with coaching A&M, and he said he understands that every game should be a must win for the Aggies.

ESPNU Radio tweeted audio of Sumlins comments:

Texas A&M is now 5-3 on the season with a tough game coming up this weekend against Auburn. Saturday’s kickoff is set for 12 pm EST on ESPN.
