Auburn lands commitment from 4-star athlete Zion Puckett over SEC rivals
Auburn is heading into the weekend with some solid recruiting momentum as top Georgia athlete Zion Puckett has committed to the Tigers over Alabama and Tennessee.
The 6-foot, 200-pound Puckett is a native of Griffin, Ga., and plays for Spalding High School. He’s rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 104 overall prospect and No. 7 athlete in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings. He could play both defensive back or receiver in college but it should be noted that the Tigers do not hold a commitment from a cornerback at this point in the recruiting calendar.
His pledge gives the Tigers 16 commitments for the 2019 recruiting cycle.
