Report: Ryen Russillo expected to sign new deal with ESPN

Back in December, it was announced that popular radio and TV personality Ryen Russillo was leaving ESPN to pursue other opportunities.
However, it appears that won’t be the case after all, according to a report on Monday from The Athletic’s Richard Deitsch.
According to Deitsch, Russillo is expected to sign a new deal with ESPN soon, which will likely include a podcast and some more TV work:
Fans of @ryenarussillo: Multiple sources tell The Athletic that he’s going to re-up with ESPN shortly. New deal will likely include a podcast element and guest spots on studio shows. ESPN brass really liked his work on Get Up! last week.

Russillo is a big college football guy, so it’ll be interesting to see what role that sport plays in his new coverage duties.
Russillo is a favorite around Saturday Down South for his love of “The Office,” but we must say that we disagree with his #hottake that Pam is an evil character:
What exactly Russillo’s new deal will include (or if he gets a new contract at all) remains to be seen, but hopefully he keeps that Pam take to himself.
