Report: A.J. Johnson's first NFL contract details released
The Denver Broncos recently signed former Tennessee star LB A.J. Johnson after he was acquitted of a rape charge.
He played in Saturday night’s preseason contest against the Chicago Bears and made his first tackle, delivering a huge hit on special teams.
On Monday, contract details were reported for Johnson, and it appears the deal is for the next three years:

What Johnson’s role will be on the team moving forward remains to be seen, but it is interesting that the Broncos are guaranteeing him $50,000.
Now, it’s up to him to make the team’s 53-man roster, but if he keeps proving his worth on special teams, he may be able to do just that.
