We’re speechless.
Former LSU QB Danny Etling ripped off an 86-yard TD run Thursday night against the New York Giants late in the fourth quarter. Yes, that Danny Etling. Yes, the tall pocket passer Danny Etling.
With the Patriots leading the Giants 10-6, Etling’s rushing TD sealed the 17-12 victory for New England. In fact, Etling led the Patriots with five carries for 115 yards and the lone TD.
Etling must have been perplexed, too, as he looked back about 50 times before reaching the end zone presumably wondering why no one was catching him. Tom Brady and his Patriots teammates went wild.
