Let’s get this out of the way first — Mark Richt is a great guy and a good football coach.

OK, now that we’ve said that, let’s talk about how much Miami struggled in the first half of the Week 1 opener against LSU in Dallas.

The Tigers roared out to an early 27-3 lead, looking like the much better squad, even though Miami was ranked No. 8 and LSU was at No. 25 heading into the game.

If Mark Richt struggling against top teams sounds like a familiar storyline, then you’re probably a Georgia fan. However, Miami fans are quickly growing frustrated with Richt’s struggles against big-name opponents, too.
