Published:

On Saturday, former Georgia WR AJ Green was carted off the practice field in Dayton during Cincinnati Bengals’ training camp.

Green was understandably frustrated, but all in all, things could have been a lot worse.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Green might not miss too many games, as he’ll be out for six to eight weeks:

That is relatively good news. Assuming Green heals quickly, he could still theoretically be back for Week 1, though he’s not expected to play at this time.

The bad news, though, is that questionable turf may have been at fault for his injury:

Schefter tweets the Bengals cleared the site, even after a thorough inspection:

Not a good look for the Bengals there, but then, they’re not prone to creating good news very often.
