Jalin Hyatt doesn’t know anything other than winning championships. That’s part of the reason Jeremy Pruitt wants the South Carolina native to join his Tennessee program in the coming weeks.

To help turn the Volunteers into an SEC contender, Pruitt needs to not only attract talent to Rocky Top, he needs to attract the right kind of talent to Rocky Top. It’s one thing to be an outstanding individual prospect but being able to contribute to a winning program is something the Volunteers need to continue to build in Knoxville.

Four-star receiver Hyatt is that type of player as his Dutch Fork high school program just captured its fourth consecutive state title on Saturday and Pruitt was in attendance to see it happen.

Hyatt, rated as the nation’s No. 56 overall receiver and the No. 5 overall recruit from South Carolina, has been committed to Tennessee since July 27. Hyatt has also been clocked in a 4.31 40-yard dash during a Nike Opening Regional camp.

Now with his high school career coming to a conclusion, with another state title to add to his list of accomplishments, Hyatt is ready to sign with Tennessee during the Early Signing Period in less than two weeks.

Mike Uva of WACH FOX shared the following photo of Pruitt, Hyatt and Dutch Fork head coach Tom Knotts on Saturday.
