The man best known from his childhood being portrayed in the charming sports movie “The Blind Side” has announced that he’s moving on from Arkansas. Sean Tuohy Jr., who was an assistant director of football operations, issued a statement of thanks on Twitter to all the people across Arkansas.

“Today is officially my last day a part of @RazorbackFB. I will be forever grateful to so many folks in NWA from coworkers, players, neighbors, friends, church & Razorback fans! Leaving so many friends hurts the most – what a special place. Excited for my next step! Stay tuned -go hogs.”

A character portraying Tuohy’s childhood in the movie shows a special relationship between former Ole Miss OL Michael Oher, who becomes an adopted big brother to Tuohy.

Tuohy graduated from Loyola University in Baltimore before he played for Chad Morris at SMU. He then coached at SMU before leaving for Arkansas with Morris.
