The Border Line “Rivalry” is starting to heat up following Barry Odom’s decision to join forces with Sam Pittman in Fayetteville and now the battle has turned to recruiting as the Razorbacks just flipped a commitment from Missouri.

Texas running back Dominique Johnson of Crowley High School had been a long-time commit to Mizzou but just signed with the Razorbacks during the first few hours of the Early Signing Period. He had been committed to Missouri dating back to June.

The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Johnson is rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 97 running back nationally by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Johnson’s pledge gives the Razorbacks just seven total commits/signees for the 2020 recruiting cycle but it would not be a surprise to see Pittman and company double that number by the end of Wednesday.

Johnson is the only running back in the latest Arkansas recruiting class, proving his value to the latest Razorback recruiting class.
