The South Carolina Gamecocks recently lost quarterback Jake Bentley to a transfer to Utah; however, on Saturday, they landed a new one.
Former Colorado State quarterback Collin Hill announced that he would transfer to South Carolina joining his former head coach — and new Gamecocks offensive coordinator — Mike Bobo.
The quarterback is originally from Roebuck, South Carolina, and he was a 3-star quarterback exiting high school (Dorman). He announced his transfer on social media.

Hill has suffered three ACL (knee) injuries during his career, and he was formerly a captain on the Rams’ team. Most recently, he suffered a season-ending knee injury in September.
In 18 career games for Colorado State, the 6-5, 214-pound quarterback threw for 3,323 yards, 23 touchdowns and 11 INTs. He joins Ryan Hilinski, Dakereon Joyner and incoming freshman Luke Doty in the quarterback room.
