The LSU Tigers may be on the verge of scheduling a big-time series against Big Ten power Michigan in the future.

LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward revealed the news Thursday afternoon, per Brody Miller of The Athletic. That would mark the first time that these 2 storied programs would meet on the gridiron.

Woodward also dropped a not so subtle hint about a future neutral site game at a brand new NFL stadium.

“There happens to be a new stadium in the NFL being built, and that would be a great place to play a neutral site game,” per Miller’s tweet.

Las Vegas and Los Angeles have brand new NFL stadiums opening this season, and the Tigers may hold a future game at either stadium.

For now, though, let’s just hope that Ed Orgeron and Jim Harbaugh are still coaching their respective teams and face off on the field, khakis and all.
