Every single year, more SEC players are drafted by NFL teams than any other conference. The SEC is putting players into the NFL at a higher rate than ever before, too.

The SEC set several common era draft records just this year, including the most first-round selections in a draft (15), the most selections in the first two rounds (25) and the most selections after the first three rounds (40). In total, the SEC had 63 selections during the 2020 NFL Draft.

ESPN took a stab at its All-SEC NFL team. It’s saturated with names that used to star in this great conference. It’s important to note, however, that Von Miller didn’t play in the SEC, as the Aggies were in the Big 12 when Miller dominated at Kyle Field.
