The San Francisco 49ers used the No. 14 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on South Carolina DL Javon Kinlaw.

Many analysts loved the selection, and Kinlaw will be expected to contribute right away for a stout 49ers defense in 2020.

Speaking with ESPN, former Arkansas (and current San Francisco) LB Dre Greenlaw said he thinks Kinlaw is the perfect fit for the 49ers defense:

“(He) is going to really be a perfect 3-technique for us and the way that we play,” Greenlaw said. “I think the way that [Nick] Bosa came and really showed his talent, I think Kinlaw can do the same thing and very well be the Defensive Rookie of the Year. I think he has that potential.”

Kinlaw will be counted on to replace DeForest Buckner, who, incidentally, was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for the No. 14 pick that was used on Kinlaw.

Perhaps, if both have great 2020 seasons, we can start referring to Greenlaw and Kinlaw as the “Law Firm.” Get it?
