As teams across the country focus on the 2021 recruiting cycle, there are some 2022 prospects who are also narrowing down their lists of top programs.

On Tuesday, 4-star 2022 DE Kenyatta Jackson Jr. announced that he had narrowed his list down to his top 12 schools.

As you can see below, he took to Twitter to say 2 SEC programs — Auburn and Florida — were still in the hunt for his commitment:

Those 2 SEC squads will compete with Ohio State, Florida State, Clemson, Miami, Oregon, Penn State, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Nebraska and Oklahoma for Jackson’s services in 2022 and beyond.

Per the 247Sports rankings, Jackson is the No. 7 weak-side defensive end in the class of 2022 and the No. 8 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
