Lane Kiffin jokes he’s glad SEC Media Days didn’t schedule him on the same day as Mike Leach

The first Egg Bowl showdown between Lane Kiffin and Mike Leach is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 26 and if you thought you were looking forward to seeing Ole Miss and Mississippi State go at it on the field in Oxford, imagine how each coach must feel following this unique offseason.
Tuesday was originally scheduled to be Day 2 of 2020 SEC Media Days featuring Kiffin and three Rebel players traveling to Atlanta to represent the Ole Miss football program but that didn’t happen thanks to the coronavirus.
The SEC has announced the 2020 version of SEC Media Days will be virtual but no date has been set the virtual meetings.
After seeing the official SEC account share that information, Kiffin fired off a tweet and tagged both Leach and Mississippi State’s football program to let them know they were on his mind.
