The Georgia Bulldogs are one of the top teams in the SEC heading into the 2020 season. But, can they compete for an SEC title and also win a national championship?

That’s the question, and there are many answers the Dawgs will have to come up with to hold the trophy at the end of the season.

During a recent SEC Network appearance, analyst Jordan Rodgers said he thinks the Bulldogs just need 1 of their 2 transfer QBs — Jamie Newman (Wake Forest) or JT Daniels (USC) — to be a playmaker and they have a chance to win it all (via 247Sports):

“We’re often talking about Jamie Newman and he’s extremely talented, but JT Daniels is a five-star guy,” Rodgers said. “JT Daniels is extremely talented. He took a back seat because of an injury. This could be a guy that shows up and, maybe he’s not the starter week one, but eventually, he might be.

“And with the defense they have, they just need a game-changer. Either of these guys could be it. But this could be a National Championship team, even with as good as Florida is and even with the question marks on offense.”

The Georgia QB battle will definitely be something to watch heading into the 2020 season. Whoever wins will have a lot of pressure on their shoulders.
