The Kansas City Chiefs made former LSU star RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire the first running back off the board in the 2020 NFL Draft, selecting him with the No. 32 overall pick.

Now, Edwards-Helaire will try to find a role on the reigning Super Bowl champions this coming season on a loaded offense.

Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs have agreed to a 4-year rookie deal with the talented former Tiger:

Financial details aren’t being reported at this time, but it’s safe to say Edwards-Helaire will be well-paid as a Round 1 pick.

Now, it’ll just be interesting to see how he fits into an offense that has plenty of firepower across the depth chart.
