Mississippi State picked up commitment No. 13 for its 2021 class on Friday.

Tre’Von Marshall, a weak-side defensive end from Stockbridge, Georgia announced his pledge to the Bulldogs via his Twitter account.

“Thank you God!! I would like to say thank you to my family, friends and coaches. I would like to thank [Mississippi State outside linebackers coach Matt Brock] for giving me this opportunity. With that being said, I will be continuing my education and athletic career at MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY #HAILSTATE” Marshall wrote in the tweet announcing his pledge to MSU.

Marshall, who plays for Community Christian School, is the second commitment of the week for Mike Leach’s program. Malik Nabers, a 4-star wide receiver from Louisiana, pledged to the Bulldogs on Tuesday.

Marshall does not have a star-rating on 247Sports or the industry-generated Composite at this time. Listed at 6-4, 240 pounds, Marshall also had scholarship offers from Georgia State, Southern Miss and Tulane.
