Former All-SEC selection, Auburn linebacker Tre’ Williams joins Gus Malzahn’s UCF staff

Gus Malzahn has added another familiar face to his UCF coaching staff as former All-SEC linebacker and Auburn standout Tre’ Williams is joining his former coach in Orlando.
The news of Williams’ addition to the UCF staff was announced by Knights defensive coordinator, Travis Williams. Travis Williams served as Tre’ Williams’ linebackers coach back at Auburn.
During his time on The Plains, Tre’ racked up 188 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. He finished his playing career as a team captain and was named a Second-Team All-SEC selection.
Following the end of his playing career, Williams had been working at Thompson High School, which just won the state championship in Alabama. Now he’ll begin his college coaching career working under his former head coach and former position coach at UCF.
