Texas A&M faces the challenge of replacing four starting offensive linemen from one of the nation’s best lines this offseason and the Aggies are currently having to do so without help from Chris Morris.

That’s because the young lineman isn’t practicing with the team despite the fact spring camp is ongoing in College Station.

Here is what Jimbo Fisher had to say when asked if Morris was practicing this spring.

“No, Chris is not out there with us right now,” Fisher revealed on Friday. “No, he’s not with us right now.”

This news comes after Morris was arrested for evading arrest with a motor vehicle and reckless driving charges in late December.

After sharing that the young lineman has not been at practice, Fisher was asked if Morris was still on the team.

“As of right now, and we’ll see what happens at the end of the semester,” the Texas A&M coach responded.

That doesn’t exactly sound promising.

Morris was rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 5 offensive guard in the country in the 2020 recruiting cycle. Last season was his true freshman season in College Station.
