Ole Miss was picked to finish fourth in the SEC West by the media before the season began, but the Rebels have rattled off an 8-2 record already, thanks to Saturday’s win over Texas A&M, and have Vanderbilt and Mississippi State left on the schedule.
Lane Kiffin’s team has made a believer out of skeptics, and college football analysts like Matt Leinart, who predicted that Ole Miss would win both of those remaining games.
Kiff likely going to finish 10-2. What a year in Oxford.

Kiffin and Leinart have a mixed relationship, as Kiffin apparently once offered a Florida Atlantic scholarship to Leinart’s son, but the 2 have also sparred about College Football Playoff rankings, as 3 years ago Leinart said 2-loss LSU should not be ranked No. 7, but Kiffin defended the Tigers because they play in the SEC.
