Final College Football Playoff rankings, Dec. 5: 4-team field revealed

The final College Football Playoff rankings of the year have been released!

The field of 4 teams competing for a national championship has been set. After an upset win in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday evening, Alabama has jumped to the No. 1 spot.

Behind the Tide are the B1G champion Michigan Wolverines, then Georgia at No. 3. Finally, at No. 4, we have the first-ever Group of 5 team to make the CFP field, as Cincinnati is in!

Here’s a look at the final CFP rankings, which we’ll update with the full top 25 as more teams are announced:
