The SEC has 2 teams in the College Football Playoff. That means there’s a good chance that, once again, the national champion will come from the conference.

It’s no surprise that in CBS Sports’ updated rankings of all 130 FBS programs, Alabama checks in at No. 1 and Georgia is at No. 3.

But, at the other end of the spectrum, Vanderbilt brings up the rear for the SEC at No. 122 out of 130 FBS teams. Here’s a look at where each team stands:

  • No. 1 — Alabama
  • No. 3 — Georgia
  • No. 9 — Ole Miss
  • No. 24 — Arkansas
  • No. 25 — Texas A&M
  • No. 26 — Kentucky
  • No. 36 — Mississippi State
  • No. 40 — Tennessee
  • No. 47 — Auburn
  • No. 51 — LSU
  • No. 63 — Florida
  • No. 64 — South Carolina
  • No. 72 — Mizzou
  • No. 122 — Vanderbilt
