After deciding to leave LSU after his freshman season, Landon Jackson has found a new home.

The 6-7, 273-pound defensive lineman announced via Twitter on Sunday that he would be staying in the SEC West and playing for Sam Pittman at Arkansas.

A native of Texarkana, Texas, Jackson enrolled at LSU last January but missed spring practice due to injury.

He did appear in 5 games for the Tigers in 2021 before an October injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

As a high school recruit, Jackson was rated by the 247Sports Composite as a 4-star prospect and the No. 125 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class.
