Jalen Catalon has made a name for himself in the Arkansas secondary as one of the best ball hawks in the SEC. On Tuesday, Catalon announced that he’s returning to Fayetteville for another season with the Razorbacks.

In a dramatic monologue, Catalon said Arkansas has been a second home for him, as the love and support from coaches and fans have been second to none.

“My family always told me, follow your heart and enjoy the journey,” he said on a video announcement. “And that journey will continue here.”

Catalon made 2 interceptions this season, and 46 tackles for the Razorbacks, but he missed the final 6 games of the regular season following shoulder surgery.

Catalon, one of 5 team captains for the Razorbacks, has recorded 151 tackles (3.5 TFL), 9 pass breakups, 5 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles in 17 career games at Arkansas.
