Jalen Jordan registered 53 tackles as a starter for Ole Miss in the defensive backfield in 2020 before seeing both his production and playing time dip in 2021.

Now, it appears that the junior will complete his college career elsewhere.

According to On3’s Matt Zenitz, Jordan has entered the transfer portal. He was a 3-star recruit in the class of 2019 according to 247Sports, ranking as the No. 29 player in the state of Mississippi.

During the 2021 campaign, Jordan played in 7 games and recorded just 9 tackles. That was after he appeared in 9 games and started in 6 a season ago. He was listed behind AJ Finley, who totaled 90 tackles and 3 interceptions, on the season-opening depth chart at free safety.
