Vanderbilt is due to lose a veteran offensive lineman as left tackle Tyler Steen, a 3-year starter along the Commodores offensive line, is entering the transfer portal.

The news comes from Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports as the 6-foot-5 and 315-pounder out of Miami, Florida, who was a 3-star recruit out of St. Thomas Aquinas, has 2 seasons of eligibility remaining.

Steen redshirted in 2018 before starting at right tackle in 2019 and then moved over to left tackle in 2020. He struggled at times on the left side but played well on the right and could be a late-round NFL Draft prospect down the line at guard or right tackle. Steen will be a graduate transfer, per a source to 247Sports.
