Florida is going through numerous staff changes as the football program transitions from the Dan Mullen era to the Billy Napier era.
One assistant who wasn’t retained was CB coach Jules Montinar, who spent the 2021 season in Gainesville after leaving USF.
According to Chris Hummer of 247Sports, Montinar has found a new job, heading to Temple to coach defensive backs:

Florida had the No. 1 pass defense in SEC play this year after finishing ninth the year before. Montinar, who has worked at Bama & UGA, is also a former @247Sports Sun Belt Recruiter of the Year.

Montinar has plenty of experience in the SEC. In addition to coaching at Florida in 2021, he spent the 2019 season as a defensive quality control assistant for the Georgia Bulldogs. He was also a graduate assistant at Alabama in 2012 and 2013.
Per Hummer’s tweet, Montinar is a solid recruiter, winning 247Sports’ Sun Belt Recruiter of the Year title while at Texas State in 2017.
