Ole Miss picks up commitment from transfer LB out of Central Michigan

Ole Miss needs to replace several key pieces on defense, and on Wednesday, Lane Kiffin’s squad got some good news.
The Rebels have been busy in the transfer portal, and the latest addition comes from the MAC ranks.
As you can see below Troy Brown, Central Michigan’s third-leading tackler in 2021, announced via Twitter that he was heading to Oxford for the 2022 campaign:

In 11 games in 2021, Brown recorded 65 tackles (7 for a loss), 1 sack, 1 interception, 6 pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
In 4 years at Central Michigan, Brown has 212 total tackles, 5 picks and 12 pass breakups. He’ll be counted on to step in right away and shore up Ole Miss’s linebacking corps.
