Chandler Wooten missed the 2020 season after opting out due to COVID-19 concerns. However, he returned in 2021 and became a star.

Now, he’s capitalizing on his big 2021 campaign to make the next step in his football career.

As you can see below, Wooten revealed via his Instagram that he was declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft, forgoing his final year of eligibility at Auburn:

During the 2021 season, Wooten finished second on the team with 94 tackles (5 for a loss). He also recorded 1 interception and 3 pass breakups.

He could be a sneaky later-round pick for a team that needs some help in the linebacker corps. We’ll see how his stock changes over the next few months.
