Auburn lost QB Bo Nix to the Oregon Ducks via the transfer portal this offseason.

Well, now the Tigers have gotten some revenge, it seems, picking up a commitment from a transferring Oregon quarterback.

As you can see below, Robby Ashford — a native of Hoover, Alabama — announced via Twitter on Monday night he was committing to Auburn:

Ashford was a 4-star member of the 2020 recruiting class. He didn’t see any action for the Ducks in 2 years in Eugene. He did play for the Ducks’ baseball team, though.

Now, he joins a deep Auburn QB room that features TJ Finley, Zach Calzada, Dematrius Davis and Holden Geriner.

We’ll see if Ashford can earn any playing time for the Tigers in 2022.
