Kendal Briles, Arkansas offensive coordinator, reportedly offered Power 5 OC job
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Kendal Briles was a big part in Arkansas’ 9-4 record in 2021, guiding the Razorbacks’ offense under QB KJ Jefferson.
But, could the standout offensive coordinator soon be on the move?
According to Brett McMurphy of the Action Network, Briles has been offered the OC job at Miami under new head coach Mario Cristobal:
Arkansas offensive coordinator Kendal Briles has been offered offensive coordinator position at Miami, sources told @ActionNetworkHQ. Briles also has been OC at Florida State, Houston, FAU & Baylor

Briles has plenty of connections to the state of Florida, but would it make sense for him to leave the stability at Arkansas to take a chance at Miami? Plus, it would seem the next step for Briles would be a head coaching job, not another coordinator position.
We’ll see what Briles decides to do for the 2022 season and beyond.
