Tyler White is a notable punting/kicking recruit, who is listed as a 5-star prospect by a kicking analyst who works with the All-American Bowl.

White, a 6-foot-5 and 200-pound recruit out of Southlake Carroll in Southlake, Texas, on Monday announced a commitment to Texas A&M. He had other offers from Miami and Texas.

According to Chris Sailer Kicking, here is a scouting report on White:

“Tyler is a big time high school punting and kicking prospect. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. Tyler has an ideal frame for a D1 Punter. His punting is a major strength. He is averaging 45+ yards with 4.8+ hang time. His best balls are measuring 50+ yards, with 5.0+ hang time. He has a big time future as a punter with continued hard work. He is also a fantastic kicker. Tyler hits a great ball off the ground on field goal. He gets the ball up well and has 55+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong for his class. Tyler is a competitor that thrives under pressure. He improves at a steady rate each time we see him. I look forward to seeing what the future holds. Keep a close eye on this talented athlete. He is a fine young man with a great attitude and work ethic. Look for the Adidas All-American Bowl on NBC Punter to dominate Vegas XL in May and the TOP 12 Camp in July picking up offers along the way. Big time combo prospect. OFFER NOW!!!”
