The Vandy Boys had the GOAT on hand Friday night. Bill Belichick visited Tim Corbin at The Hawk ahead of Vanderbilt’s game against No. 23 Florida.

The Vanderbilt baseball team’s Twitter account shared photos of Belichick in the dugout, sporting a Commodores cap.

Belichick was born in Nashville in April of 1952. Two of Belichick’s assistant coaches have been Vanderbilt football head coaches. Rod Dowhower coached the Commodores from 1995-to-1996. Woody Widenhofer was Vanderbilt’s head coach from 1997-to-2001.

Vanderbilt and Florida have been recent powers in the SEC East, leading to Friday night’s game getting the national spotlight with a broadcast on ESPN2, despite both teams entering with 5-7 records in SEC play. Friday’s game is the first of a 3-game series.
