James Rojas has been a key rotation player for Alabama for the past 2 seasons after transferring in from Hutchinson Community College.

Now, though, he has 1 year of eligibility remaining and he plans to use it outside of Tuscaloosa.

On Sunday, Rojas took to Instagram to reveal he was transferring to Wichita State for the 2022-23 season:

In the 2021-22 season, Rojas appeared in 17 games for the Tide after coming back from an injury, making 3 starts. He averaged 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per contest.

Wichita State went 15-13 this past year under second-year head coach Isaac Brown. We’ll see what sort of role he carves out for himself with the Shockers this coming season.
