Tennessee baseball is not only the No. 1 team in the country, the Vols are also at the top of the list in terms of trolling and trash talking opponents.

The latest example came after the Vols swept the Florida Gators over the weekend, and on the way back to Knoxville, the Vols stopped to shower at The Swamp. Along the way, they picked up Florida football helmets to celebrate the win, according to Evan Russell’s Instagram story.

The Vols seemingly notch another historic milestone each week, and one example this weekend was Tennessee set a new program record for series sweeps in a season, recording the eighth of the year. The previous record was seven, set by the 1994 SEC Championship team.

Another was this weekend’s sweep became UT’s first over the Gators in Gainesville since 2001 and just the Vols’ third on the road at Florida in program history (2022, 2001, 1971).

The 11th-inning win came after Florida led on Sunday for the first time all weekend, but Tennessee got a big finish from true freshman designated hitter Christian Moore who had a two-out single in the ninth inning before he launched a two-run homer in the 11th to put the Volunteers ahead for good 6-4.
