Tymon Mitchell was a 3-star defensive lineman in the class of 2019. The Nashville native committed to Georgia and spent 3 years as a backup lineman for the Bulldogs.

This offseason, he decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal and explore his options ahead of the 2022 season.

On Thursday morning, Mitchell took to Twitter to reveal he was heading to the Big 12, committing to the TCU Horned Frogs:

Mitchell appeared in 8 games during his 3 years with the Bulldogs, recording a total of 11 tackles.

How will the 6-3, 300-pound defensive lineman fare at TCU? We’ll find out starting this fall. He could step in and be a contributor for the Horned Frogs right away.
