Tim Tebow can identify with what Tom Brady is thinking about in terms of an NFL player looking to get in the broadcast business. While Tebow is obviously not on Brady’s level in terms of NFL production and success, he’s in a small group of people who have done both.

Tebow recently spoke with TMZ Sports about how Brady will do as a color commentator.

“He’ll be amazing,” Tebow said. “He’ll be so good at it. He’s got so much knowledge and he’s such a good guy and kind guy. And, he knows the game too well. He’ll be amazing.”

On an earnings call about a week ago for FOX Sports on Tuesday morning, CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced that Brady has agreed to become the network’s lead NFL analyst when he retires from playing. The Brady move is the latest in a series of major moves in NFL broadcasting this offseason. FOX lost its top NFL broadcast team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to ESPN. Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen are expected to be the network’s No. 1 squad this coming NFL campaign.

Tebow declined to offer Brady, who was a teammate in 2013, any advice about a pending broadcasting career, but believes Brady is already setup for success.

“Listen,” Tebow said. “He’s the greatest of all time for a reason. He’s going to go up there and he’ll be amazing. So, truly will.”
