SEC Shorts offered its latest hilarious episode about the topic of the week, Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher discussing name, image and likeness issues in terms of player compensation.

As SEC Shorts explained, “It’s been a slow off-season, that is until Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher got into a very public knock down, drag out verbal fight about NIL deals and paying players. Now that they have put it out there in the public area, Mom has to come in and settle them both down.”

“You started it, no you started it,” they said.

“You started it by paying players,” the Alabama character said.

“You can do that now,” Texas A&M countered.

“Not uh, not the way you’re doing it,” Alabama said.

Texas A&M replied, “You’re just mad because you don’t have a collective of oil barons.”

The frustrated Mom interjected, “You finished 1 and 2 in the recruiting rankings and you can’t just be happy for each other.”

Lowering the temperature in the room, Mom offered some perspective on the changing dynamics of college football.

“College football isn’t going to stay the same,” she said. “It couldn’t. It’ll take time to sort things out and figure out a new system then.”
