6 SEC teams crack top 25 in Athlon Sports’ 2022 preseason rankings

The 2022 college football season is still a few months away, but excitement is building now that most teams are within 100 days of their season openers.
On Thursday, Athlon Sports released its top 25 rankings for the season, and 6 SEC squads cracked the list.
As you can see below, Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M all make the top 5, while Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas show up later in the rankings:
