Jailyn Ingram transferred to Georgia last season after spending his first 5 years at Florida Atlantic, taking advantage of his extra COVID year of eligibility.

However, after becoming a bright spot for an otherwise dismal Georgia team through 9 games, he suffered a season-ending knee injury.

Fortunately, for new head coach Mike White, there’s some good news. White revealed on Tuesday that Ingram had been granted an extra year of eligibility due to his injury:

So, this will now be Ingram’s seventh year of college basketball as he prepares for his second campaign with the Bulldogs.

In those 9 games last season, all of which he started, Ingram averaged 10.7 points, 6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest.
