The SEC Network’s pregame show “SEC Nation” announced its Week 1 destination Wednesday during Media Days.

It was no coincidence that Arkansas and Sam Pittman visited with the media. The show announced it will be going to Fayetteville for Arkansas clash with Cincinnati. The Bearcats, of course, made the College Football Playoff for the 2021 season, and with the Hogs hosting Cincy, it was too good to pass up for the pregame show.

“Yes, yes, yes — last time you were there was the Texas game,” Pittman said on the SEC Network. “Get one of them hats and let Paul throw it.”

“I can’t confirm or deny that he (Finebaum) got in trouble for that, but he got in trouble for that,” Laura Rutledge said.

Pittman then had some additional comments about Luke Fickell and his wrestling history.

“Coach Fickell is a wonderful coach,” Pittman continued on the SEC Network. “Obviously, they lost 9 guys to the NFL. But they’ve been recruiting, he’s there. He’s an old high school wrestler. I got to know him at the AFCA convention for a short time because there was 5 of us that walked out there to get Coach of the Year. By the time I got on the X of the deal, they’d already announced him won the award. I already walked backstage. I got an opportunity to talk with him. I really like the man, he’s a driven guy. Wrestlers are different now. So I know he’s going to have them ready to go, we’ll have our team ready to go.”

The Razorbacks host the Bearcats on Saturday, September 3 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
