Elliott Fry, who has been with 8 NFL teams, has reportedly landed with his latest in a training camp move by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He reportedly won a competition on Friday with 4 kickers in the mix.

Fry, the former South Carolina kicker, was the Gamecocks’ kicker from 2013-16. During that time, he went 66-for-88 on field-goal attempts and 161-for-162 on extra points, playing 51 career games. Fry’s professional career started with the Orlando Apollos of the short-lived Alliance of American Football. He went 14-for-14 on field-goal attempts for the Steve Spurrier-coached team before the league suspended operations after 8 weeks of its season.

Fry then signed with the Chicago Bears in April 2019, but he was cut in August after losing the preseason battle to Eddy Pineiro. Since then, Fry has spent brief time with the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals. He’s made it in NFL games with the Falcons, Chiefs and Bengals.

Fry’s 5-for-6 on field goals and 5-for-7 on extra points in his career with a long of 44 yards.
