Bengals head coach Zac Taylor provides timetable on Joe Burrow’s return

Former LSU Tiger Joe Burrow recently underwent an appendectomy that is holding him out of Bengals preseason training camp.
The Bengals and head coach Zac Taylor do not expect his time away from the team to be long term, per ProFootballTalk on NBC Sports. Taylor provided an update Saturday.
“I don’t have any timetable,” Taylor said on Saturday, via Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “We’re just trying to give him some privacy, and I’m sure he’ll be back in when he’s ready.”
The Bengals are set to once again contend in the AFC after a perhaps improbable, yet entertaining Super Bowl Run last season. Cincinnati is ready to kick off its preseason on Aug. 13 against the Arizona Cardinals.
