Kentucky basketball announced Tuesday evening that it will play a home and home series against Gonzaga. The Wildcats will travel to Spokane to battle against the Bulldogs on Nov. 20. Gonzaga will travel to Rupp Arena in the 2023-24 season.
The announcement was made at Kentucky’s scrimmage at open practice.

The Wildcats are raising awareness for Eastern Kentucky flooding and have raised $1.2 million for the cause, per Kentucky Basketball.

This will be Kentucky and Gonzaga’s 2nd all-time matchup, one Kentucky won 80-72. The Wildcats and Bulldogs are both preseason top 5 teams per CBS, with Gonzaga coming in at No. 1 and Kentucky at No. 4.
Kentucky has one of the toughest non-conference slates in the country, and this news just adds to it. The entirety of that non-conference schedule can be found below:
- Nov. 15: Michigan State
- Nov. 20: Gonzaga Bulldogs
- Nov. 29: Bellarmine
- Dec. 4: Michigan
- Dec. 17: UCLA
- Dec. 31: Louisville
- Jan. 28: Kansas
